I always wanted to make a double wedding ring quilt but was not the least bit interested in sewing a convex curve to a concave one. It was only when I realized I could do it with machine applique that I was tempted to try. Now I consider Double Wedding Ring a beginner technique - it's that easy. To make the process easier I have had templates made so that all of the cutting can be done with a rotary cutter. Make it any size you want - with either pieced arcs or plain.
This multi-colored wall hanging was made with pieced arcs.

This black and white sample was made with plain (un-pieced) arcs.
